How sworn translation works in Italy
In Italy a sworn translation is a traduzione asseverata: correspondence with the original is declared under the rules in force, often before a court. It does not turn a foreign degree into an Italian one, and it does not guarantee admission or recognition.

Apostille and legalization
Apostille or legalization and sworn translation are separate steps. You may need one, the other, both or neither: it depends on the country of issue, the document and what the recipient asks for.
We do not claim that a university degree must always be apostilled. Confirm with the receiving body before you commission the service.
